The Beginning

It started with a billboard in April 2013, on the land site, just up the road. Dad saw it. 
It seemed like a fair deal price wise on a decent size parcel of land in a suburb south west of Sydney.... Home.
Inquiries were made on what blocks were available there was about 40. The choice was mine. 
A neighbour let us look over his back fence to get an idea of what block position was suitable. 
So it was settled the block picked was fairly flat about half way from main in the estate subdivision.
It has possible views to the foothills of the Mountains.

Inspected many major display home builders.... Beechwood, Masterton, Coral, Lily, Metricon, Clarendon.... you name we trapsed through them. We looked at Mcdonald Jones, but we kept reverting back to the house that was WOW - Masterton Overture Elite displayed Gregory Hills. 

Anyway one day after some looking through all of Mcdonald Jones plans online, we found a very similar layout to the Masterton. We took a drive out to Mcdonald Jones display at Oran Park, asked the if they house the Summer House on display unfortunately as we write this they dont, but we noticed a plan for the Beachside Executive Grand - almost same house - displayed at Mittagong. 

Early May 2014 on a Sunday afternoon we went to Mittagong and decided that we would be making it possible to build the Summer House after the seeing the quality and sizing of the home. PS the steak in the pub was the steak had in a long time, in the Thai restaurant LOL

Came home and started the spreadsheet comparing Mcdonald Jones and Masterton. On the list was inclusions etc and what was not. Mcdonald Jones was a bit over in price but the quality sold the house.
